The PPPIA mission is to increase knowledge about pressure injuries through improved education and research in Pan Pacific countries, leading to improved outcomes for individual patients with pressure injuries.

Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers/Injuries: Clinical Practice Guideline
In conjunction the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) and European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel, PPPIA produces the International Pressure Injury Guideline. Associate wound organisations from around the globe participate in the guideline development and use the guideline in their countries. The Guideline contains the most extensive evidence-based pressure injury clinical guidance.
