World Wide Stop Pressure Injury Day
Stop Pressure Injuries Day (SPID) is held around the world every 3rd Thursday in November. The Pan Pacific Pressure Injury Alliance supports the efforts of Pan Pacific organisations and individuals that help promote public awareness of the serious problem of pressure injuries.
To help reach this goal, the NPIAP/EPUAP/PPPIA will launch access to a free digital version of the full 2019 Guideline from SPID 2023.
The PPPIA also provides freely available resources on this website to support this goal.
How can you get involved with SPID?

Organise public awareness events to share information with patients and their carers about pressure injuries
Reach out within your organisation to informhealth professionals about pressure injuries
